Update

Heard tonight that Jack has been moved to the CCU for his care. He is being kept comfortable with medication and was not put on a respirator, the family's decision. He was conscious today. Gladys plans to continue with her final chemo treatment this week. Prayers are welcome.

Update

I spoke with Cindy, Jacques and Gladys daughter', on the phone this morning. I let all her know that the bagel family was thinking of them. Jacques was too ill to have the pacemaker surgery. He was mostly unresponsive yesterday and remains in St. Agnes. His heart function is 10-15%, his lungs have fluid, and his prognosis is poor. Only the family is allowed to visit him in the hospital.
